THE HALLOWS

The hallows – UNDER DEVELOPMENT OPENING OCTOBER 2018. This will be a purpose built trout lake for fly fishing.

THE BROOMSTICK (Coarse Only)

£7.00 per day

£6.00 per day for concessions (under 16, over 65 years of age)

THE CAULDRON (Fly Fishing Only)

£3.00 per hour. With 1 Fish ( first fish must be taken,

minimum ticket 2 hours)

additional fish my be purchased at £2.50 per pound.

Fly Fishing

Fishing Rules

  • All anglers must be in possession of a E.A rod licence
  • No Keepnets. (except in matches)
  • All fish are to be returned to the waters (strictly catch and release)
  • Ground baiting allowed only through a feeder or pole pot.
  • All hooks must be barbless and no bigger than size 10.
  • Fishing is only permitted from pegs.
  • No dog or cat food allowed.
  • No trout pellets.
  • No Boilies
  • All fish must be landed and returned using a landing net, regardless of size.
  • Each angler is responsible for any litter found on or around the peg they are fishing from.
  • Dogs are welcome when accompanied by a responsible owner.
  • All nets and unhooking mats must be dipped and left to dry before commencing fishing.
  • Alcohol is not allowed on the fishery.
  • Any disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.

Anyone found to be in breach of the rules will be asked to leave the fishery, no refund will be issued.

Fly Fishing Rules

These rules are in addition to the general rules of the fishery.

  • A minimum 10lb leader must be used on The Hallows
  • All hooks must be barbless or micro/pin barbed
  • All fish to landed using landing nets
  • All nets to be dipped before commencing fishing
  • A note of all catches must be recorded on the tally (this allows Stock levels to be monitored)
  • This card must be handed in after fishing where your deposit will be returned.
  • Any fish to be taken must be dispatched on the bank using a priest.
  • All Brown Trout must be returned. 
  • All fish taken are to paid for before leaving the fishery.
  • There is no fish Limit, however all fish are to be paid for before leaving the fishery, at £2.50 per lb.
